형태의 궤적 전시 아이덴티티 디자인Trajectory of Shape Exhibition Identity

건국대학교 GLOCAL캠퍼스 금속공예전공 졸업전시 ‘형태의 궤적’의 아이덴티티를 디자인했습니다.Trajectory of Shape is the graduation exhibition of the metal craft major at Konkuk University GLOCAL Campus, and its identity was designed around the title.

서로 다른 재료와 조형을 탐구한 작업들이 한 학년의 시간 안에서 이어지고 흔적을 남긴다는 전시 제목의 인상을 시각 구조로 연결했습니다.Works exploring different materials and forms continue through one academic year and leave traces, and that impression was carried into the visual structure.

배경Background

2024년 졸업전시는 10월 29일부터 11월 1일까지 교내 전시를 거쳐, 11월 20일부터 25일까지 서울 인사동 마루아트센터로 이어졌습니다. 서로 다른 공간과 시점에서도 하나의 졸업전시로 인식될 수 있는 공통의 전시 아이덴티티가 필요했습니다.The 2024 graduation exhibition ran on campus from 29 October to 1 November, then continued at Maru Art Center in Insadong, Seoul from 20 to 25 November. A shared exhibition identity was needed so it reads as one graduation show across different spaces and moments.

과제The Challenge

학생마다 재료와 형태, 작업 방식이 다른 금속공예 작품을 특정한 하나의 스타일로 규정하지 않으면서도 전체 전시를 묶어야 했습니다. 교내와 외부 전시의 정보 구조가 달라져도 동일한 제목과 시각적 흐름이 유지되어야 했습니다.Metal craft works differ by student in material, form and method, and the identity had to bind the whole exhibition without fixing it to one style. The title and the visual flow had to hold even as the information structure changed between the campus and external venues.

디자인 접근Design Approach

‘형태’가 완성된 하나의 결과물이라면 ‘궤적’은 그 형태가 만들어지는 과정과 이동의 흔적을 의미한다고 보았습니다. 고정된 상징을 앞세우기보다 형태가 이어지고 변화하며 흔적을 남기는 인상을 그래픽의 흐름과 배치에 반영했습니다.If shape is a finished result, trajectory is the process of making it and the trace of its movement. Rather than leading with a fixed symbol, the impression of forms continuing, changing and leaving traces was carried into the flow and placement of the graphics.

비주얼·경험 시스템Visual / Experience System

전시 제목과 참여자·일정·장소 정보를 서로 다른 포맷에 맞게 재배치할 수 있도록 구조를 정리해 교내 전시와 인사동 전시를 하나의 시리즈로 연결했습니다. 작품 이미지가 달라져도 제목의 움직임과 정보 위계가 전시의 공통 인상을 유지하도록 했습니다.The exhibition title with participant, schedule and venue information was structured to be rearranged for different formats, connecting the campus show and the Insadong show as one series. Even as the images of the works change, the movement of the title and the information hierarchy keep the shared impression of the exhibition.

프로젝트의 의미What It Means

‘형태의 궤적’은 서로 다른 학생의 작업을 하나의 조형 스타일로 통일하기보다, 각 작업이 지나온 과정과 연결이라는 공통의 관점으로 묶은 전시 아이덴티티입니다.Trajectory of Shape is an exhibition identity that binds different students' work through the shared perspective of process and connection rather than unifying them into one formal style.
